Traderoot has formed a strategic partnership with Halo Dot, who provides certified, secure and modular SoftPOS software that enables merchants to accept contactless payments directly on mobile devices. Together, the companies aim to make secure, mobile-first SoftPOS payments more widely available.

Android devices become secure payment terminals

The partnership integrates Halo Dot’s PCI MPoC-certified SDK directly into Traderoot’s Android-based orchestration and settlement infrastructure. Using this solution, merchants can now accept contactless card payments on standard Android smartphones, without dedicated point-of-sale hardware.

Traderoot adds certified SoftPOS acceptance to its product offering, extending its acquiring and switching capabilities through this collaboration.
